Ir. Jan Schultz

Jan Schultz studied chemical engineering at TU Delft and has worked for contract research organizations in preclinical drug research since the beginning of his professional career.

Jan Schultz has been Director of Business Development at Mercachem since 2009. The Nijmegen-based company employs 140 chemists who work on small molecule drug discovery and development projects, from initial hit validation of pharmacologically active compounds to small-scale GMP production of substances for initial clinical trials. Mercachem is one of the largest employers of organic chemists in the Netherlands.
