Winner of the Golden Flame Award 2019
Meike Heideman
Solvent-free coagulation - in a study into the effect of a solvent-free process on product properties, ROC van Twente
This year, the Golden Flame jury nominated Meike Heideman's report, written as part of her internship at Chamlon BV in Ootmarsum for the Operator C program at ROC van Twente, for the Golden Flame 2019.
According to her internship supervisor, Meike did an excellent graduation research project in the final year of her Operator C training. "She has developed crucial new steps in the production process, enabling Chamlon to comply with the new environmental requirements relating to the upcoming REACH legislation. In carrying out the research, she drew up a realistic research plan and conducted the research accurately in close collaboration with all those involved. With this research, the accompanying presentation, and the research report, she has delivered a result that clearly exceeds what is expected of an MBO student."
