Prof. Saskia M. van der Vies
During the Spring Meeting entitled “How do I cash in on gold?” on 8 May 2014, the KNCV appointed Prof. Saskia M. van der Vies as Member of Merit.
For several years, Saskia has shown exceptional dedication to the association in a way that far exceeds the obligations of a board member under normal circumstances. During her chairmanship, Saskia has been closely involved in a number of very complex issues. With boundless dedication and great tenacity, she succeeded in steering the association through a turbulent period. She made a significant contribution to finding a stable solution so that the association can once again build its future.
Saskia van der Vies has a big heart for the KNCV. No appeal to her was ever in vain.
