Work experience
After (or rather during) my master's degree in Organic Chemistry, it became immediately clear to me that my ambition did not lie in research. That is why, after graduating, I started working at the KNCV as Project Manager Labor Market & Education. Here, I was responsible for various projects in these areas, such as the career afternoon for PhD students. I also set up and organized the first edition of the Carbon Master's Day.
I have been working at TMC as Chemical Account Manager since May 2016. At TMC, we hire people on a permanent basis and look for interesting projects for them. I am responsible for recruitment, matching candidates to our client companies, customer contact, acquiring new customers, and maintaining contact with our people on assignment. It is a very enjoyable and dynamic position, which gives me a lot of insight into the labor market. I can then use that insight in my work as a career coach!
