Networking for a job

Many people are hesitant to network. The focus of this workshop by Geraldine Sinnema, Een wereld van verschil, is to offer the process in the form of logical, well prepared, obtainable and inspiring steps, so that networking becomes a breeze!

You will learn to network in a practical, low-threshold manner.  Instead of passively asking for a job, you will be actively offering your services.

Your first step in this process is to list what you have to offer potential employers or clients.  Then you chart the territory of your own personal job market by conducting informational interviews, finding out which employers need what you have to offer. The next task is to select the options with the most possibilities.  Then, after you have collected all the relevant information on these organisations, you are ready to make appointments with potential employers and clients and tell them in what ways you can be valuable to them.
