ChemPubSoc Europe Journals and Angewandte Chemie:
Quality first – this motto has been proven correct by
the release of the Impact Factors 2010
Once again ChemPubSoc Europe Journals and Angewandte Chemie published under the auspices of 16 continental European Chemical Societies by Wiley-VCH have shown well above average positive trends.
Angewandte Chemie has seen an amazing above average growth from 11.829 by almost one point to 12.730 and can be proud of its outstanding Immediacy Index of 2.409 for total of 1800 articles.
In addition the total citations of Angewandte Chemie as well as of Chemistry -A European Journal have grown at well above the average rate proving their top relevance.
The ChemPubSoc Europe ever growing journal family now embraces 10 journals as well as the online service ChemistryViews.org emerging from 14 national journals. Again no other chemical society publishing portfolio has a higher percentage of titles with an IF above 3 (88%).
ChemSusChem increased its IF by 32% to a stellar 6.325 and is a great first choice for publishing top work on energy and sustainability.
An excellent first IF of 3.345 received ChemCatChem, the first journal bringing together heterogeneous, homogenous and biocatalysis.
Continued growth – not a given in these days – reflect European Journal of Organic Chemistry, ChemBioChem, ChemMedChem, as well as Chemistry - A European Journal ever growing reputation and importance.
ChemPhysChem and European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry confirm their position as leading journals for high quality research in Physical Chemistry and Chemistry Physics as well as Inorganic Chemistry, in general performing better than the competition from IF 2009 to 2010.
