In the Lerch lab, we equip materials with the ability to make decisions, move, and morph by using networks of reactions, supramolecular interactions, and stimuli-responsive chemistry.

Our lab has a unique pipeline where we synthesize and characterize new molecules, embed them into supramolecular assemblies, and shape these into 3D materials and robotic devices.
