The European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and its Young Scientist Network (EFMC-YSN), in partnership with ChemMedChem (a Chemistry Europe journal), recently announced the EuroMedChem Talents Special Collection as part of EFMC’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.

This Special Collection will highlight the work of promising early career researchers working in the continuum of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. We see them doing great science, and believe it is important to support their career and enhance their visibility. You will find more information on EuroMedChem Talents at bit.ly/euromedchem.

We need your help to identify the best candidates, who will then be invited to contribute to this collection. Anyone who obtained their PhD in the past 12 years (2008-2020) or is an excellent PhD student about to graduate, and is working in academia or industry in Europe, is eligible. 

Please share this information within your national organization and encourage your members to provide us with the full name, current affiliation, year they got their PhD, and email address of the people they would like to nominate. Nominations can be sent to the guest editors filipa.ramilo@gmail.com or yves.auberson@novartis.com.

We hope to hear from you soon, latest by the end of September. Invitations to enter the EuroMedChem Talents Special Collection will be sent in October.
