Dear members,

At the Spring Symposium of 27-28 May 2021, the KNCV Division Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology will present the winner of the biannual KNCV Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology* Dutch PhD thesis prize. The prize - consisting of a certificate, a work of art, and a EUR 1,000 cash prize sponsored by Symeres – will be awarded for the best PhD thesis at a Dutch university in the years 2019-2020. Nominations should be submitted (only one candidate per promotor) by sending the thesis (pdf allowed but 5 hardcopies preferred) and a recommendation letter to the secretary of the division before January 8th, 2021.

An assessment committee consisting of a chairman (board member of the Division) and at least two external members will judge the nominations. The winner will present the work at a scientific meeting of the Division.
