The Computational and Theoretical Chemistry (CTC) section of the KNCV is pleased to announce the Call for Nominations for the KNCV-CTC PhD Thesis Award 2026.
This award recognizes outstanding PhD research in the field of computational and theoretical chemistry and will be presented during the KNCV-CTC Spring Symposium, which will take place in April 2026 in Delft.
Nomination Guidelines

Each principal investigator (PI) may nominate one candidate (i.e. the PI pre-selects and nominates their best candidate) via a nomination letter.

The candidate must have successfully defended their PhD thesis at a Dutch or Flemish university between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2025.

The core of the research must concern computational and theoretical chemistry.

The nomination must include:

A nomination letter from the group leader.

An electronic copy of the PhD thesis (PDF).

A CV, including a complete and up-to-date publication list (including manuscripts in preparation, submitted, accepted, in press, etc.).
