Marileen Dogterom: Making sense of nature's forces

The second keynote speaker we proudly introduce is prof. dr. Marileen Dogterom. She is head of the Bionano­science Department of the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience of the Technische Universiteit Delft. Her group focusses on the dynamics and organisation of polymers in the cytoskeleton and is involved in the creation of a synthetic cell.

During NBC-19 she will tell more about the new developments in this field.

Career workshop for young biotechnologists during NBC-19

Would you like to know more about different career opportunities in life sciences? During one of the session of the NBC-19, young NBV will organize a career workshop that will tell you all about that. We have invited experts that after their life science training now have careers as patent attorney, as CEO of a biotech company, work with startups, or as auditor. This workshop will be interactive and enables you to talk with senior biotechnologists from different fields of expertise.

We have only limited places available, so please subscribe by sending an e-mail to young.nbv@gmail.com as soon as possible, but at the latest before the 10th of May.

Labtechnology 2019: Accelerating Innovation

On Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 October, Labtechnology 2019 will take place at the Utrecht fair. Labtechnology is a conference and exhibition event with over 50 speakers and 100 companies and is organized every two years. Labtechnology is  the largest lab-related event in the Benelux.

NBV is a media partner of this event and registration is free for NBV members.
