De Sectie Analytische Chemie van de KNCV en Saxion Hogeschool nodigen u van harte uit voor The Analytical Challenge 2024. Ook dit jaar komen we weer samen voor een aantal lezingen en discussie over een hedendaags analytisch chemisch onderwerp. Het thema dit jaar is “Tracing Traces” en we zullen dieper ingaan op het brede en boeiende veld van de forensische analyse.
We hebben een aantal interessante sprekers bereid gevonden te vertellen over hoe zij analytische technieken gebruiken in hun werk op dit terrein. We beginnen met een algemene inleiding over de huidige staat van de forensische analyse in Nederland en bespreken dan onderwerpen die variëren van onderzoek aan cultureel erfgoed tot de toepassing van forensische proteomics en van analyse in zedenzaken tot methoden voor de monitoring van explosieven en de analyse van sporen op de plaats delict.
De bijeenkomst vindt plaats op woensdag 24 januari 2024 op de Hogeschool Saxion, M.H. Tromplaan 28 in Enschede. Klik hier voor de routebeschrijving en voor informatie omtrent parkeren. The Section Analytical Chemistry of the KNCV and Saxion University of Applied Sciences cordially invite you to The Analytical Challenge 2024. We are gathering again for a number of presentations and for discussions about a contemporary analytical chemical topic. The theme of this year is “Tracing Traces” and we will zoom in on the broad and interesting field of forensic analysis.
A number of interesting speakers will present how they use analytical techniques in their work in this field. We will start with a general introduction of the current state of forensic analysis in the Netherlands and then focus on topics that vary from research of cultural heritage to the application of forensic proteomics and from analysis in sexual assault cases to methods for monitoring explosives and analysis of traces at the crime scene.
The symposium takes place on Wednesday January 24th, 2024 at the Saxion Hogeschool, M.H. Tromplaan 28 in Enschede. For directions and parking information, click here.
