The convention focuses on the uses of synthesis gas for the production of fuels and chemicals. World-renowned experts in the field have been invited to give lectures on the fundamental aspects of synthesis gas conversion.

Participants are encouraged to present their own work in the form of either an oral or a poster presentation. Themes on which papers are invited include synthesis gas production, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, methanol synthesis, higher alcohol synthesis, synthesis, hydro-formylation.
