NPS10 is the 10th event in the Series of the Annual Netherlands Process Technology Symposia. NPS10 will therefore be larger than ever before – just to celebrate this milestone. Over the years, NPS has grown from an annual meeting of PhD students only to a scientific symposium of relevance to chemical engineers both in industry and in academia and research institutions. This year, we also aim at a significant attendance from Belgium and Germany.

The theme this year is:
The Future of Process Technology –
Process Technology of the Future
With this theme, we like to give the floor to contributions describing both aspects: how chemical engineers may pave the way towards a more sustainable future and how this desired more sustainable future may create new opportunities for chemical engineers. As a matter of fact: owing to their ability of conceptual thinking and due to their experimental and modeling capabilities, chemical engineers are perfectly geared to translate a wide variety of scientific inventions into economic processes and plants – a real asset to meet the challenges of a more sustainable society.
